"Thank you for your skilled and caring treatment of my aunt. Thank you, too, for finding a way to help her hearing."

P. W.

The earlier you start wearing hearing aids, the easier it will be for you rather than waiting till your hearing gets much worse. Wear them everyday - don't ever, ever not wear it.

In my opinion, hearing aids are easier to wear than glasses. One of the most important things in being successful with hearing aids is to have a competent audiologist. I had some that didn't really work with me. If the hearing aid whistled or didn't sound right - then that was tough and they told me to live with it. Sue has worked with me to be sure that my hearing aids worked the way they need to.

I think people should buy the best available hearing aid. You may need to wear a few to notice the difference. People expect hearing aids to sounds terrible, but once you try a great hearing - you will realize there are differences.

My hearing loss was gradual and hereditary. My wife would call out to me "HEY! HEY!" I'd drive down the road and keep on cranking the radio up.

It's amazing to me the difference with this hearing aid. I can hear sounds I never heard even cars coming up beside me. It's great to have it. I wanted durability and power and I get it with this hearing aid.

First thing I do in the morning: I put my glasses on. Second thing - I put my hearing aid on.

Sue's a good lady. She'll take care of you.

When I first realized that I had to have some help was when my wife was tired of my saying "huh?" Being able to hear meant that I was able to work. Now that I have retired, it means I can interact with other people and talk to my grandchildren.

I am now wearing a cochlear implant. I can even use a telephone! I feel so much better now. I have no negative feelings whatsoever about the implant of hearing aids.

The reason I work with Sue is that she is patient. She tries to help. She knows what questions to ask. She listens to me. She didn't brush me off. That is not true of everyone. She's the 10th audiologist I have been to. I haven't been to anyone else since.

I know when I have walked out of your office, I have received the best opportunity to hear that is available.

My first experience with hearing aids was terrible. I never got used to them. My communication was poor with my audiologist. He wouldn't listen to me. I'm not that hard to handle either. It's amazing the tall stories you will be told just to sell you a hearing aid: "these will last you forever or they will last for life!"

Then I found you. I can imagine that people have trouble finding someone who listens and who they can trust. My hearing is important and I don't want to miss anything. My bridge is important and I can hear just fine now. If is very important to have good communication with your audiologist.
